Heels for Hope Fashion Show & Silent Auction

The Heels for Hope Fashion Show & Silent Auction will help to support our Center of Hope Shelter for families, women, and men. Attendees are encouraged bring donations of twin-sized bedding or towels for the shelter.

Doreen Ketchens

Doreen Ketchens In Concert

Saturday, April 7 | 8PM & 9:30PM

Doreen Ketchens is no ordinary street musician. Although when home in New Orleans she can often be found on Royal Street performing for tourists and other French Quarter strollers, she is an international attraction at festivals and concerts and has performed for four United States presidents. NOLATalk: Women Empowerment in

Tuesday, April 10 | 6-8:30PM The first ever installment of NOLATalk will feature a panel discussion, moderated by our #FestiBestie Camille Whitworth, highlighting three dynamic and successful women in the hospitality and tourism industry in New Orleans. The program's headliners are Kristi Taglauer, Melissa “DJ Soul Sister” Weber, and Samantha Carroll, Food Network Star and owner of Sac-a-Lait, the site of the FestiGals 2017 Culinary Demo Dinner. We know these bold ladies make great conversation, so this is a can't miss event!

The panel is followed by a cooking demonstration by Fleur De Lis Catering’s Executive Chef, Molly McLaren. Molly helped create the delicious dishes you tasted at the FestiGals 2017 Welcome Reception!

In conjunction with A Queen Within: Adorned Archetypes, join Kelsey Brosnan, Curatorial Fellow for European Art, for a discussion about women’s fashion as depicted in NOMA’s eighteenth-century French art collection.

Friday, April 6 | 11:30AM-12PM Join NOMA curatorial intern María Beatriz Carrión as she discusses works in the permanent collection related to women and power. These short and sweet talks are perfect for fitting in a quick women & arts history lesson into your afternoon break.

New Orleans Royal Princess Ball Sunday, April 8 | 9AM-6:15 PM This one's for all the princess-obsessed children in your life! At the Dream Parties' Royal Princess Ball, you and your little one can participate in princess games, story times, sing alongs, ballroom dancing lessons, as well surprise activities!
