Creating Your Path to Success: A Conversation with WWL-TV Anchor & Author Sheba Turk, Presented by Patrick J. Gros, CPA

WWL-TV Morning News Anchor Sheba Turk has just written her first book, Off Air: My Journey to the Anchor Desk. Turk moved up the ranks quickly at WWL, making her way from behind the scenes to the anchor desk in just about two years. She knows that her story will resonate with anyone busy chasing their own dreams. Turk wasn't always clear about what her future would look like but she was determined to be successful. In this session, Turk discusses how she worked through obstacles many of us encounter in life, seized opportunities, and carved a unique path to success for herself.

#YouToo: Personal & Professional Challenges in Today’s World

It's Our Time to Make an Impact with Renee Horton

The time is now to embrace the true influences of women on today's (and future) societies. Our voices should be used for girls and women, locally, nationally, and globally, to demand equal treatment, equal education, gender equality in the workplace, and the right to thrive without being sexually objectified. As the participation of women increases in local markets and governments, as CEOs and University Presidents, we must capitalize on this unprecedented opportunity to affect change for the greater good

Where are you in this impact, where are you going to make a change?

and to make the greatest impact on our current and future society.
