FestiGals will take to Bourbon Street on Saturday June 21st for a one-of-a-kind New Orleans experience during the Stiletto Stroll. Stroll, strut, and sashay down historic Bourbon Street in our own spectacular second line parade escorted by police motorcycles, surrounded by musicians, dancers, and marching groups. You’ll feel festive and ready to roll, with or without stilettos and costumes!
This year, we’re kicking it up a notch and have added a fabulous new activity to precede the Stiletto Stroll: The Stiletto Sprint! This fun dash will travel two blocks of Royal Street toward Canal Street to the finish-line in front of the Hotel Monteleone where an Awards Ceremony will take place and the Stiletto Stroll will commence. The funds raised from the Stiletto Sprint will be donated to the Breast Center at Ochsner Baptist. Money raised will be used by the Breast Center for patient education, equipment, 3D Tomosynthesis mammography, and nurse training.
Participants are encouraged to wear costumes, team outfits or colorful sportswear when strutting their stuff and will be eligible for first, second, and third place prizes based on creativity, team spirit, as well as speed. This Stiletto Sprint is open to both men and women, so strap on some heels on your men and bring them out to support a great cause!
The stroll will end at Bourbon Heat, where you’ll eat, drink, and be merry FestiGals style with complementary cocktails, food, and entertainment. Bourbon Heat’s 50-foot balcony overlooking Bourbon Street is a perfect location to soak in the excitement of the French Quarter.
Stay Tuned!! Registration for this individual event is coming soon!
